We are looking for
Head of Finance & Controlling (all genders) – someone who brings together a strong finance foundation, a forward-looking approach to controlling, and sound financial insights to support better business decisions.
Your tasks
- Finance & Accounting: You own our Finance and Accounting processes and, together with our Accounting team and external partners, ensure reliable financial accounting as well as robust month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
- Controlling & Forecasting: You further develop our budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis and ensure that we identify trends in revenue, costs, cash flow and profitability at an early stage.
- Management Reporting: You continuously develop our management reporting and KPI framework, turning financial data into clear insights on business performance, risks and potential courses of action.
- Finance Business Partnering: You work closely with our Executive Team and Team Leads, support business cases, investment and resource allocation decisions, and constructively challenge assumptions when the numbers and expectations do not align.
- Commercial Finance: You connect our Sales Pipeline with revenue planning and financial forecasting and work closely with Sales and Customer Solutions to build a realistic view of opportunities, revenue and overall business performance.
- Performance & Efficiency: You help strengthen financial and commercial ownership across our teams and support initiatives focused on revenue growth, cost efficiency and measurable P&L impact.
- International Finance: You coordinate our Finance processes across Germany, the US and Singapore and continuously develop our international structures. This includes close collaboration with local Accounting and Tax Advisors as well as other external experts.
- Data, Systems & Automation: You further develop our Finance and Reporting processes, connect relevant data sources and leverage AI as well as established tools such as Power BI and Excel to increase transparency and eliminate manual work wherever possible. You will also have a dedicated budget for the implementation of an ERP system.
- Leadership: You provide direction within our Finance team and work together to further develop clear ownership, processes and standards across Finance.
Your profile
- Several years of experience in a Finance, Controlling or FP&A role with broad responsibilities and a high level of ownership.
- A strong Accounting foundation and sound knowledge of German GAAP (HGB). You do not need to post every transaction yourself, but you are comfortable taking professional ownership of Accounting and financial close processes.
- Strong experience in Controlling, budgeting, forecasting, Management Reporting and evaluating business decisions from a financial perspective.
- Strong business acumen and experience partnering with and constructively challenging senior stakeholders as a Finance Business Partner.
- The ability to go beyond reporting numbers and translate financial data into clear business insights, scenarios and actionable recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skills and a strong affinity for BI, Finance and Reporting systems.
- An independent, structured and pragmatic way of working, combined with the confidence to take a clear position and engage effectively at Executive level.
- Fluent German and English.
